Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —
The Magistrate and District judge extended on Monday the arrest of 14 Jerusalemites including children and released two young men.
Extending the arrest of children and young men from Al-Tur
Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the District judge extended the arrest of Ibrahim Abu Jom’a, Jamal Za’tari and Mohammad Abu Saud until completing the legal procedures against them; note that indictments including charges of throwing stones, Molotov Cocktails and firecrackers were submitted against them during Monday’s session.
The Magistrate judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Akram Abulhawa until Tuesday, and an indictment was submitted against him during Monday’s session. He also extended the arrest of Mousa Abulhawa until 9/3/2015 which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report, and Majdi Hadreh and Mohammad Tayseer Abu Sbitan until next Thursday; note that the public prosecution submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Mohammad Tayseer.
The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Abu Sbitan until Tuesday and Mohammad Abu Ghannam until 3/3/2015 until the conduct officer releases his report.
Extensions of arrest- Shu’fat refugee camp and Sheikh Jarrah
The judge extended on Monday the arrest of Ibrahim Amoudi until 24/2/2015; note that he is being interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh in “Cells 20”, and also extended the arrest of Ahmad Abu Fuli until next Thursday.
Extensions of arrest- Silwan
The judge decided to release Salem Harbi Abbasi from Silwan with a bail of 1500 NIS but the prosecution appealed the decision at the District Court which approved the appeal and the judge then extended his arrest until 25/2/2015.
The judge also extended the arrest of the minors Yazan Al-A’war and Abdullah Siam until 22/02/2015 to make a decision about releasing them with a bail and house-arrest conditions.
