Israel Occupation Arrests Six Palestinian In West Bank, Including Disabled Man

WEST BANK, February 25, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli army arrested six Palestinians in a set of separate incidents on Wednesday, mostly during predawn raids across the West Bank, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron, army stormed the Old Town neighborhood and arrested 14-year-old Hussein Murar. He was led to an unknown destination.

The army also broke into the nearby town of Beit Ummar, where they arrested Rabee Awad, 19. They also raided and searched multiple homes across the town, but no further arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, army forces stormed the village of Azzoun near Qalqilia and arrested two local residents. They were identified as Husam Riyasi, 15, and Mahmoud Nidal Saleem, 17.

In the meantime, the Israeli authorities arrested Mu’taz Tayeh, 21, a local resident of the town of Qabatia near Jenin, after he was summoned for questioning by the Israeli intelligence in the nearby Salim military compound.

Israeli army further arrested a mentally disabled person in the nearby village of Zbuba. The young man, identified as Ahmad Abu Tuaima, 29, was present at a land owned by his family when Israeli soldiers arrested him, a security source told WAFA.

Hours earlier, army soldiers broke into the village, provoking confrontations with local residents. The soldiers fired teargas canisters, causing multiple cases of suffocation.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem, witnesses said Israeli police officers fired teargas canisters towards a boy’s school in the Olive Mount neighborhood, causing a number of students to suffocate.
