20 Year Old Mahmoud Tarabi Injured Last Week When Hit With An Israeli Occupation Rubber Bullet

Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —

One young man was seriously injured on Wednesday night in the village of Esawyeh and was transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital for treatment; note that he is under arrest at the hospital.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the 20-year old Mahmoud Tarabi was injured with a rubber bullet in his eye while he was walking in the village of Esawyeh coinciding with clashes in the village.

Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village, explained that Tarabi left his house on Wednesday night to buy cigarettes from one of the grocery stores and was not aware of the ongoing clashes in the village.

Abu Hummos added that the forces fired rubber bullets towards the young men and seriously injured him in his eye; Tarabi fell on the ground after being injured and the forces assaulted and arrested him.

Abu Hummos pointed out that Tarabi is still receiving treatment at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital.
