Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday called on Palestinian expatriates to come back, invest in Palestine and contribute to building its economy.
Addressing an investment conference organised by the Palestine International Business Group in Ramallah, Abbas said: “We respect this initiative and invite you to organise more meetings, projects and initiatives to build our homeland.”
“We want developmental and industrial projects so we can build our economy and create job opportunities for young people,” he continued.
“As we proceed in our construction process, we are also looking for useful projects. Our ultimate goal now is that we want our Palestinian people wherever they are to return and build their homeland.”
