WEST BANK, May 19, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Tuesday arrested at least 11 Palestinians during predawn and night raids in the West Bank districts of Hebron, Jenin and Bethlehem, according to local and security sources.
In Jenin, army forces stormed the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, and arrested two local residents, identified as Ibrahim Amarneh, 26, and Izz Herzallah, 22, after raiding and searching their homes. Israeli soldiers also raided other homes in the town and questioned their residents.
Meanwhile, an army force stormed the nearby town of Jaba’ and arrested Mohammad Yousef Malaysheh, 35, Mohammad Fayez Malaysheh, 35, and Ma’en Kan’an, 28. The army unit also raided several homes in the town.
Meanwhile, the army broke into Hebron in southern West Bank and arrested two local residents. They were identified as Munjed Junedi, 26, and Rashad Refaiya. The army also stormed the nearby Arroub refugee camp and arrested Hazem Ra’i, 15, and Mustafa Farrah, 16.
Army forces stormed other homes in Hebron and handed a summon notice to journalist Iyad al-Hashlamon to appear for interrogation.
In the meantime, army forces stormed the villages of Beit Fajjar and al-Khader in Bethlehem district and arrested Ahmad Thawabteh, 26, and Mohammad Ismail Salah, 17, after raiding their homes.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police summoned 13-year-old Samer Khaled from Shuafat refugee camp in the city to appear for questioning at the nearby Russian Compound detention center.
