Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 30 Palestinians from Nablus, Bethlehem Districts

NABLUS, April 15, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early Wednesday 30 Palestinians from Nablus and Bethlehem districts, said security sources.

Israeli forces launched a large-scale raid and detention operation in Nablus city, storming several neighborhoods, breaking into and ransacking many homes and detaining about 28 Palestinians.

The detainees were identified as Mona al-Sa’eh, Husam Bastami, ‘Abdullah al-‘Aker, Ziad Marish, Sa‘ed Khudariya, Amjad Abu Ghoush, Nidal Abu Rmaila, Sa‘id Dwaikat, Wajih Abu ‘Idah, ‘Omar ‘Atallah, ‘Omar ‘Abdul-Wahhab, Ahmad Sawalha, Amin Abu Warda, who works as a reporter, Samih ‘Ilaiwi, ‘Anan Fattouh, Sami al-‘Asi, Amjad Zamel, Jaser Abo Hamada, Basem Abu Gnaid, Fares and Ghanem Sawalma, Ghassan Khaled, Ghassan and Abu Hamza al-Jurf, Bara’ ‘Abbas and Sami al-‘Asi.

Meanwhile, forces raided Husan, a village to the west of Bethlehem, where they proceeded to detain two Palestinian minors after breaking into and ransacking their families’ houses.

The detainees were identified as Rayyan Hamamra, 17, and Muhammad Za’oul, 16.

Israeli forces conducted Tuesday evening military drills in Nahhalin, a village to the west of the city, spreading panic among Palestinian villagers and sparking clashes with them.
